Time to Move On

I'm not going to lie - it feels really weird to be writing this right now.

I haven't posted for nearly half a year so blogging feels almost unnatural, which is something I never thought would happen. So much has gone on in the past six months (I remember it as a vague blur of college applications, BSed scholarship essays, coffee binges, and the overall emotional turmoil that is Senior Year), so it would be extremely hard for me to simply dust myself off and pick up things where I left them.

Experimentations of a Teenage Feminist has been in my life for the better part of my high school career, but I think it's finally time to move on to something a little different.

Some of you may be aware of this from one of my Facebook updates; I'm actually planning to start a new blogging community with nine other contributors this coming summer. The project is still in its beginning stages, but I'm really excited because it will give me a chance to move into a more professional-feeling sphere as I move on to college in September. (I'm going to be a University of Washington Husky, a longtime dream of mine!)

I want to thank those of you who've supported this blog over the years. Truthfully, it's a little painful (as in, embarrassing) to read some of the stuff I wrote as a feminist "newbie", but you guys are really forgiving, and as I continue to be baffled by comments from people who say they love this blog, I am overcome with gratitude.

Whether you've stuck with me from the beginning or simply found EOTF during some late-night Google adventure, thank you for two great years!

Cordially yours*,
Danielle
