My Two Cents on "True Beauty"

You always hear people talk about "true beauty" like it's this untouchable, imaginary thing we keep locked up inside. I think this picture (taken at one of our Real Beauty Revolution meetings) proves that theory wrong.

True beauty is tangible, robust, uninhibited, and real.

  1. How true - especially in Judaism there's the concept of tzniut, modesty in dress, and my teachers always harp on that if we dress modestly our "true beauty" will shine out from the inside, that our "true beauty" can only be unlocked when we dress a certain way. While I still haven't sorted out my feelings towards tzniut, you've hit the nail right on the head here!
