Disclaimer

This blog ran from 2010 to 2012 and is the product of a young girl finding feminism and her voice for the first time. Five years later, a bachelor's degree, and many new experiences under my belt, my views on these subjects have understandably changed and become more finessed.

While many things I wrote in high school now make me cringe, I won't delete them. These posts are proof that we can—and should—evolve in our understanding of the ways the world works. Read the posts, chuckle at my juvenile writing and attempts at humor, but hold 17-year-old me accountable when she gets something wrong. (She often still does.)

To those of you who continue to discover, read, and comment on this blog years later—thank you.

And to those who are finding feminism for the first time, reading everything you can get your hands on, staying up until the wee hours of the morning—I see you. I was you!
